Alternatively, you can also opt to visit Harajuku and Shibuya if you didn't on the previous day. ![]() After that, we'll hop a futuristic ferry from the giant Gundam of Odaiba over to Asakusa, where Tokyo's most iconic temple and tons of traditional souvenirs await. We begin with our feet in the water and our eyes on the neon walls of the TeamLab Planets exhibit. Stumped? Don't worry - both these options are offered on other days too! OR, you can leave the city behind for the historic city of Kamakura to visit the Kodaiji Giant Buddha, the caves and overlooks of Hase Temple, and the shopping lanes of the city that have some of the best street food in the entire region as you make your way to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine. Your choice today is a diverse one! You can opt for the fashion-centric fun of Harajuku and Shibuya, where you can shop for art, figures, fashion, and all kinds of food from around the world (oh, and visit the new Nintendo and Pokemon stores). November 1/Day 4: Kamakura Sights or Harajuku Style We'll also visit Nakano Broadway, the famous attic of Anime fandom! Option 2: Wander with us to the west part of the Yamanote Line to Shinjuku, where we'll traverse the world's busiest train station to visit the Square Enix Artnia Cafe and other cool themed spots. Then we're off to Akihabara to shop for the latest and greatest in Anime goods, electronics, gaming merch, and much more! October 30/Day 2: Akihabara and Soba Makingĭays 2 and 3 are interchangable, and you can do either one on either day! Option 1: we'll head out to learn how to make one of Japan's most iconic noodles (and consume the results!). This is when you arrive in Tokyo!
